Invitation to join the World Studio in Regenerative Design and Planning

GETTING READY FOR THE NEW WORLD: HEALING CITIES AND REGIONS

For application and fees, please click here

This International Masterclass for architects, planners, landscape designers and artists focuses on the transformation and regeneration of fossil energy/mining landscapes and neglected settlements world-wide, using the concrete example of the actively coal producing Lausitz region between Berlin and Polish border. In a five-day/six-night program we will host excursions and urban design studio sessions featuring guided site visits and presentations by important experts. Climate change, global refugee crises, renewable energy autonomy, the transformation of regions – this master class is a world studio squarely focused on the sustainability of cities and the rise of a new architecture and landscape understanding. This regional design project is supported by ISD I eurisd.org, and will feature hands-on technical as well as strategic presentations and skills acquisition opportunities.
